The participants of the project called "The Development of Professional Competences as Opportunity for Young People" are 30 students of the Dunikowski Complex of Schools who specialise to be building technicians and landscape architecture technicians. They are young people who are just getting ready to enter the work market. Most of them have no professional experience at the work market, however, they are aware of the difficulties that are ahead of them in the process of finding a job. The 30 students will go on a 4-week traineeship in Schkeuditz, Leipzig, in Germany in January and February 2017.The aim of the project is to develop the students' professional skills and to improve the vocational training, to support them in acquiring and using the knowledge, skills and qualifications for their personal development. They will improve their job prospects at the European markets, refine foreign languages and will be prepared to develop their intercultural awareness.The participants will gain new qualifications which will boost their employment chances on the market. They will learn specific vocabulary and practice teamwork. The students will increase their self-esteem and build up their motivation for the professional development.The project aims not only at organizing internships, but in particular, it intends to incorporate such foreign mobility into our long-term strategy of making our school more internationally recognizable. We would like to join the European cooperation in the framework of educational institutions. The project will also contribute to the developing of good management practices, perfecting professional skills of our staff that will be responsible for cooperation with foreign institutions. Finally, we expect that such cooperation will help us create our own tools that will maintain quality of the foreign traineeships.The participants will take part in special preparatory language, pedagogical and cultural classes that should equip them with all the necessary skills and knowledge. Each participant at the end of the mobility will receive the Europass and ECVET documents. What is more, they will be given certificates of participation in the internships together with the individual assessment card.
