Teachers of ZS6 need new tools for teaching to work more effectively. That is why we are planning to send eight teachers of general subjects, one of the head teachers and one psychologist to an intensive general English course and five teachers (out of eight) for professional development courses in Lake School of English in The United Kingdom: Creative Teaching in the Secondary English Language Classroom, Language (2 persons), Life and Culture in the UK Today (1 person), English for Effective Communication (2 persons). These courses introduce approach of English teaching, effective communication, culture and life in the UK and blended learning.The main objectives of the project are: imrovement the quality of teaching and professional development, growth of mobilities and language skills, improvement of educational materials, counteracting of burnout, use of ICT in teaching process and increase of further possibilities of employement.Improvement of language skills will enable teachers to do projects and increase the involvement of the participants in e-Twinning programme which will be used to exchange good practice, meet new teachers and communicate with schools from other countries. Thanks to being fluent in English, teachers will be able to apply for professional development courses within Erasmus+ programme according to school development plan and individual professional needs. During the course, teachers will cooperate with teachers from other EU countries, it will be a chance to exchange ideas, compare working methods, management, introduce new changes in the school. Each of the participants will make lesson plans/educational materials in which the usage of English on their subjects will be included. English teachers will prepare lesson plans and educational materials to share with the others. All the materials will be displayed on Moodle platform and they will be introduced on each subject. Participants of the courses will share their experience with colleagues from ZS6 and other schools. The outcomes will be disseminated among teachers, parents, colleagues and local schools.Competitiveness between schools is very high nowadays due to the baby bust. The higher qualification and language skills, the better job teachers can further better job. Each of the participants will get Europass Mobility certificate which will enrich their CVs. The participation in international projects will improve teachers' language, professional aqnd personal skills. Our school needs to create a strong group of people who will get involved in cooperation with international schools, create new projects - that will be a chance to present new teaching methods, learn new teaching trends, new educational programmes and give school European dimension.We want to be a school that follows new trends and is attractive to students.
