Since the beginning of its existence our school has always considered providing modern education as the most important goal. As a school combined of primary and lower secondary schools we are able to influence the development of our students’ skills and help to build their attitudes for as long as 10 years. Working in a rural environment we are also able to cooperate with other primary schools, which students continue their education in our lower secondary school. We believe that thorough preparation since early age increases the probability of the equalisation of educational opportunities of our students with the opportunities of their peers from other countries from the UE. It also enables their sustainable growth. We expect constant development not only from our students but also from our educational staff. Because of that , we would like to increase our qualifications by taking part in Action K1, Erasmus+.Project objectives:1) acquiring and increasing English language skills among our teachers;2) developing methodical qualification among teachers of different subjects; 3) increasing the opportunities of self-development and teaching career;4) improving the quality of teachers performance and their activities aimed at students;5) gaining skills and experience enabling cooperation with other schools in eTwinning projects;6) introducing innovative qualities of content and language integrated learning (CLIL);7) increasing the teachers’ understanding and sensitivity towards the social, language and culture diversity;8) boosting teachers’ motivation and satisfaction from every day work (eliminating the risk of professional burnout);9) integrating educational staff;10) in the future, after preparing the staff, joining Action 2 in Erasmus+ programme. The project is going to be participated by fourteen teachers from both primary and lower secondary schools which form Zespół Szkół in Czarny Las. These are the teachers with different teaching seniority (from 2 to 30 years), on different levels of their teaching career. They are teachers of various areas, i.e. Maths, Science, humanistic subjects, English as a foreign language, artistic subjects, a teacher of early school education, teachers supporting students with disabilities. During the mobilities we are going to cooperate with three different schools located in Great Britain since their educational offer will allow us to fulfil our educational needs in the best way.Participants of the project and main actions during the mobilities:1) teachers of English as a foreign language, early school education, teachers supporting students with disabilities – participation in methodical and culture awareness courses;2) teachers of Maths, History and Civic Studies, Science, Music, ICT, RE, Polish language, early school education – participation in intensive general English courses;3) teachers of English as a foreign language and Maths - participation in CLIL methodology teacher training courses.Detailed actions and the implementation of the project:1) the analysis, connected with the mobilities, of individual project participants’ needs as well as defining them on the objective forms;2) taking part in training courses, keeping achievement and observation register;3) monitoring of the mobilities process and adjusting schedule for planned actions;4) collecting personal observations of the courses and preparing materials presenting acquired knowledge in order to share them with other teachers in our school and other target respondents (other schools iin our region, societies and teacher development centres)5) using participants’ knowledge, skills and observations to indicate appropriate changes, introduce innovations and make recommendations concerning the performance of our school so as to gain long-term goals;6) creating the plan of the implementation of pedagogical, methodical, organisational solutions which will help in the process of the realisation of European School Development Plan.Expected results and project influence:1) the increase of methodical qualification among teachers of the following subjects: English, Maths, early school education, supporting teachers;2) the increase of English language skills among all course participants in order to prepare the staff for the cooperation in eTwinning projects and to participate in Action 2, Erasmus+;3) the implementation of innovative teaching methods with the use of content and language integrated learning (CLIL);4) the modification of school curricula and extra classes curricula.Potential long-term advantages:1) the increase of the quality of our educational offer;2) the increase of the quality of international cooperation;3) the development of personal attitudes in case of respect, tolerance, support for others and the understanding of different cultures among all project beneficiaries;4) preparing for further actions increasing staff qualifications to create bilingual classes.
