The 3rd and 4th year students in the study field of beautician, hairdresser-make-up artist and body cosmetics and the 3rd year students in the study field of hairdresser and manicurist-pedicurist will take part in the mobility project called "The development of professional skills in beauty services" in the school year 2014/2015.The group travelling to England will consist of 15 students, the group travelling to Germany will consist of 14 students and finally the group travelling to the Czech Republic will consist of 12 students. The project will be focused on hair treatment, hair care, skin care and nail care by using the newest products, materials, technologies and appliances. In the study field of hairdresser and hairdresser- make-up artist, the aim is to acquire new knowledge and skills focused on fashionable haircuts, colours, techniques in cutting and dyeing, hair treatment, hair extension and hair thickening and also to use the eco-friendly products that are able to protect not only the client but the environment as well.In the study field ofbeautician, the aim is to acquire new knowledge and skills in face care techniques by using products and appliances that are careful with the skin and they are also able to nourish and renew it. In the study field of manicurist-pedicurist, the aim is to acquire new knowledge and skills focused on the hand and foot care with the usage of instrumental techniques, care and arranging of natural nails, shaping, decorating and care of artificial nails because the news related tomaterials and techniques for shaping and decorating the artificial nails come to the market very dynamically.The part of the project is not only to familiarise with the new technologies, materials and methods, but also to adapt to the new working and living environment, to discover the country and its culture and to broaden and acquire the language skills.The participants will utilize their language and professional skills and theywillsimultaneously compare these skills to practices used by the host countries. The skills will be developed in England and Germany in the area of cities London and Leipzig and in the Czech Republic in the school salons. During the internship, the students will gain an overallidea about the daily working conditions and organisational structures in hairdressing, cosmetic and manicurist profession of given countries. Practical training will be related to the practical and theoretical knowledge and skills acquired by the students in their native country.The students guided by their professional trainers will transfer their theoretical knowledge into practice, they will be acquainted with the latest trends in the field of hairdressing, cosmetics and manicure and they will develop their imaginativeness and creativity.Everyday communication in English and German will improve their language skills.In Germany, the participants will visit Plastic surgery clinic and also a lecture with a professional make-up artist will be arranged for them. Above mentioned mobilities will take place in England in London, in Germany in Leipzig and in the Czech Republic in Pardubice fromSeptember to Novemberin the school year 2014/2015.The outcome of the project will be a complex finish of a client during the last days of the internshipperformed by the students using their newly acquired skills and preparations used in the given countries. These works will be documented photographically and processed in a digital form into a booklet that will be used as a promotional material.
