Rompiendo muros hacia un aprendizaje global (Breaking the Walls Towards a Global Learning)

1. Background: Since 1946 our centre has developed itself as an innovative school with a vision that enables students to meet the new challenges of a rapidly changing society like ours. On the basis of our own identity and culture, we open ourselves to the broad and comprehensive conception of Europe and the world, respecting different social and cultural realities around us. It is within this background that we intend to expand our horizons in order to have an overview of education in Europe and to give our students the opportunity to benefit from other European educational contexts, keeping their own identity at the same time. 2. The objectives of the project include: -To ensure staff mobility within Europe, in order to improve their skills and to guide the educational process -To improve the management capacity and curricular approach to produce changes in innovation and internationalization of education -To develop teaching skills to articulate formal, non-formal and informal learning, internationalization and integration into the European labour market -To develop an understanding of the social, cultural and linguistic diversity -To improve language skills and the use of ICT -To increase motivation and teachers' satisfaction at work -To identify opportunities for personal and professional growth -To facilitate cooperation with partners in the educational systems within the EU in order to exchange good teaching practices, to carry out projects and international partnerships -To develop management skills in international projects -To promote the policies, practices and knowledge about European educational systems to the school faculty 3. Partners -Sollebrunns Skola, Sweden -Huseyin Avni Ateşoğlu Primary School , Turkey -ITC International Training Centre, France -ITC International Training Centre, United Kingdom 4. Project activities - Presentation of the Erasmus + to the school faculty and selection of participants, according to the selection criteria listed previously in the project -Drawing up the partnership agreements (Rights and Obligations of each partner) between Ramon Llull school and partners in Turkey and Sweden -Preparation of activities by chosen teachers: language training, intertcultural training and management and curricular approach in the European context -Follow up of the activities and the objectives comprised in the project carried out by the project manager and the representative of partner institutions . After internal and external evaluation, the need to incorporate any modifications in the School Plan of Ramon Llull school, will be assessed -Constant communication between the project manager, representatives of partner institutions and teachers involved in the mobilities -Promotion and dissemination of project results (the visibility of the project activities is ensured through different broadcast channels available at Ramon Llull school) -Preparation and submission of the final project report -Integration of the experience in the educational process of Ramon Llull school and preparation for new collaborations and partnerships involving European mobility. 5. Methodology According to our school philosophy, our methodology carried out throughout the project is based in cooperative work and team work of all the staff, with the aim to disseminate the acquired knowledge to our students and faculty members. In accordance with the teaching-learning process of our students, the methodology used by the members of the commission of the project will be based on the experience and direct observation to promote a critical spirit. 6. Results and long term benefits Throughout the project the following documentation will be issued: - 3 Europass Mobility Documents - 6 certificates of participation in mobilities - 3 Training diplomas issued by an authorized centre by the European Commission - 4 Individual Plans for the difusion of mobility activities - 4 CV Europass - 4 Europass Language Passport Expected long term benefits -To obtain a global and diverse vision of the European educational system -To motivate the faculty to continuous training and mobility -To revise and update our School Plan to increase the quality of the teaching-learning process -To promote the desire to investigate, to use ICT and foreign languages in a real and meaningful context and to develop abilities of creative thinking and personal growth 7. Profile Our participants are all members of the school faculty, as well as: -School manager and Head of Human Resources -Primary Head of studies and Coordinater of the Key Competences team -Pre-Primary Head of studies and Coordinator of the Psychopedgogical team -Coordinator of the Department of English
