The concrete production engineers are a small professional group in LBS 5 that have convinced by their professional and social behavior and the will to a mobility project. The class of the third course in 2016 consists of four students who will participate in the project. The apprentices work in a Styria and a Lower Austria operation in which various prefabricated concrete parts and merchandise are produced. The activities of learners are made of the in-house work time, a total of eight hours per day to work. At five working days per week, the trainees will participate on the operation. On weekends, a cultural program is compiled. In the evenings there are going to be day-reflections, as well as a technological training. In the weeks prior to the preparation of the participating apprentices are still prepared specifically for the project, the project itself, it is submitted in the following areas: Students should perform an expansion of horizons, especially concerning everyday work and mentality, in the host country, as well as the implementation of practical and theoretical expertise. An important point is also the socialization with superiors in the project partner country. Through shared experiences the teamwork is encouraged. The Students can apply and extend their knowledge of foreign languages, they have acquired in school. Getting to know the history and culture of the host country is another important aspect in this learning mobility. So this project offers an experience that will increase their value in the labor market. The resulting qualifications and impressions will accompany them throughout life.
