Roma Youth Log In: Promoting active participation of Roma youth and the structured dialogue in the development of policies for Roma youth in SlovakiaYoung Roma men and women face the same discrimination, disadvantage and problems than other young people today: unemployment, social and economic exclusion, complicated transition from childhood to adulthood, and uncertain future. In the case of young Roma, however, these problems are exacerbated by the fact that they are Roma and in addition to double discrimination must also deal with family and social traditions that unite them and are often very firmly anchored. As indicated by the researchers in the company are young Roma men and women coming from disadvantaged backgrounds who seek to participate and engage in current social processes, but too often find that their voice is not being listened to, their interests are ignored and their involvement is to mainstream society undesirable.In order to be able to meaningfully participate in decision and policy making, the Roma youth activists and organizations must be strengthened by the acquisition of knowledge and skills to be able to carry out advocacy activity and formulate political messages. To bring about change for the better in this area and to promote a structured dialogue Roma youth with the entity responsible for decisions in the field of youth are defined, we have for our project main objective "to enable the participation of Roma youth at all levels of policy making processes, particularly in the consultation process in implementation and monitoring of Roma inclusion and youth policies through the simplification and strengthening of the structured dialogue with young Roma and Roma. "Activities within the project:1. Listening Youth, 8 the focus group meetings in various regions of Slovakia, in which it participates together 120 young Roma and Romani women2. Listening Adults, regional meetings - structured dialogue with the decision makers, 8 regional meetings, which were attended by a total of more than 336 participants3. Empowering, 3 courses for 20 young Roma leaders
