Until now we have organized already 3 seminars Roma Youth European Youth. During those 3 seminars we developed the guide " 9 steps in working with Roma youngsters" which to help young trainers, facilitators, youth workers, youth leaders, social workers, volunteers and all other people to work with Roma youngsters to do their work better and to increase the involvement of the Roma youngsters in youth activitiesWe organize this project, consisting in a training and a seminar, as a response to the needs identified by our partners to train their staff in becoming more experienced in working with Roma youngsters and also to increase the number of young Roma which are involved in youth activities. We want with this project to respond to the lack of experience and knowledge about how to work with Roma young people of the 28 youth workers from 7 NGO's which are working in this field.The general aim of our project is to capacitate the Roma and non Roma civil society to work with Roma young people.The general objectives of the project are:- To capacitate the 7 partner NGO’s to work with young Roma- To increase the use of the guide “9 steps in working with Roma youngsters”- To increase the participation of young Roma- To promote nonformal education and practical life learning for Roma young peopleThe specific objectives are:For the training:- To develop skills, competences and knowledges of the 28 participants in order that they can become professional youth workers which work with Roma and Non Roma young people- To capacitate 28 young participants to develop activities witch to promote inclusion- To train 28 young Roma and non Roma to use practically the guide “9 steps in working whit Roma youngsters”- To make the 28 participants to know better the Roma tradition and historyFor the evaluation seminar:- To evaluate the field work of the 28 participants- To increase the level of understanding about activities which promote the work between Roma and non Roma young people together for the 28 participants- To increase the knowledge of the 28 participants about activities and methods which promote the inclusion and participation of the Roma Youngsters- To develop more the guide “9 steps in working whit Roma youngsters”- To offer the opportunity for 28 participants to share experiences about activities which promote inclusion of Roma and non Roma young peopleThe results of this project will be to train 28 youth workers specialized in working with Roma young people and to capacitate 7 NGO's from 7 different countries to develop more professional activities with young Roma.Also after this project we will improve the guide adding new working methods and also a chapter with description of good practices.
