To develop a joint market- or technology-specific competence, the project partners virtually integrate their competences to create multi-faceted expertise (scientific, technological and knowledge of the cross-bordermarket/public). To achieve this, the partners merge research institutes from both sides of the border. The research and development activities are completed by studies aimed at defining the technical and economic development and utilisation conditions of materials to create the most relevant products to meet the needs of the companies in the area. Thanks to this research, either reliable technologies to increase the companies competitiveness, or reliable materials to improve product quality at comparable costs are made available to the companies in the area.Promotion and awareness actions are conducted to inform manufacturers and seek their opinion. Also, meetings are organised to introduce them to each other to prevent them from competing with each other.
