Rinascimento: an european network for key competences

When the idea of Rinascimento was born, this partnership wanted to be useful to answer to the needs of key competences improvement in Europe.Since the ´contact seminar´ organized by Leonardo da Vinci Spanish National Agency in Murcia (Spain) in october 2007, all of the partners have been working around the concept of key competences. With the creation of an network of experts about key competences this issue comes true. This research had provided a key competences map that is very useful to analyze aspects having to be improved at national and European level.This partnership was made up of five partners from five different countries: Spain, France, Bulgaria, Sweden and Romania. The Rinascimento Project has taken place during 24 months, July 2008 - June 2010. The templates of the questionnaires were designed by Granaforma based upon material from the European Commission. For each participant country, every questionnaire was translated to a relevant and balanced language: in Swedish, Spanish, Polish, French and Bulgarian. The main objectives of the project were: 1. To create a network of experts about key competences 2. To make the map of the situation of key competences in Europe.3. Web Site Blog.This partnership sets out an approach to key competences improvement in Europe. This partnership will be useful for European growth. In order to attain the new strategic goal for European Union, Europe have to become the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world, capable of sustained economic growth with more and more and better jobs and greater social cohesion.
