Rhythm of Drums (RoD)

The project Rhythm of Drums will promote cooperation of inhabitants from bordering areas of Serbia and Hungary in order to revive drumming as joint tradition and cultural heritage. Objective is to organize a camp where group of young people from Serbia and Hungary will be encouraged to foster joint cultural identity and heritage. After camp, trained drummers and dancers will perform on public events/festivals in both countries in order to promote the achieved results and to announce the drumming festival in Coka. Project activities will contribute to successful management over common cultural and historical heritage and to promotion of cultural values, as well as to individual development of the participants which is the basis for sustainable development. Equal opportunities will be addressed by equally involving both genders and young people of Hungarian and Serbian nationality.
