Our project promotes a healthy lifestyle and the protection of the environment as a great partner for us in our development. 22 participants from 4 countries - Bulgaria,Romania,Turkey and Macedonia will join their intercultural abilities and discover , with non-formal , interesting methods how to interrelate with the environment and in the same time protect it and their health. Sport and outdoor activities will take place for 7 days in Smolyan aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage the intercultural dialogue, develop the solidarity among young people and respect for nature. These respect for nature and a healthy lifestyle will be promoted in the local community too, with the help of local supporters and media. The project connects the idea of sustainable development and the possibility of rational use of the environment as a resource for youth development in remote mountain areas. The project aims to raise awareness and understanding of young people about the benefits of non-formal education on the topics ecology and sustainable development, and relationship with their fundamental rights and sustainable development of local communities .The aims of the project are to provide an environment for young people participating in it to develop their social and living skills, increase motivation and self-esteem and acquire knowledge and skills in areas that will assist them for future personal development.The project activities will have granted the opportunity to put into practice some of the solutions to our problems through outdoor activities, sports, healthy eating, information about healthy eating and how we can maintain a healthy lifestyle not only for themselves, but mostly with respect to the environment.We aim to improve the level of knowledge and skills to 22 young people on sustainable attitude towards themselves and the environment and to promote cultural dialogue and active citizenship through cultural activities open to 22 young people for seven days in the Rhodopes.
