Our teams have decided to suggest to motivated pupils of TERMINALE BACCALAUREAT PROFESSIONNEL an internship in Madrid through European Mobility ”turnkey” so as to help them to improve their linguistic and social capacities as well as to raise their chances to succeed in their exams. So far, we would like to show to our young learners in vocational schools, that they have the same status as pupils and students who are granted a scholarship to go abroad and whose activities were mentioned in the press, or through films, novels and facts. Indeed, our pupils have all met difficulties during their school education and have a low self esteem compared to others who study in general branches. In spite of an important work to re-assess the vocational studies, the image still remains fragile and must be regularly reinforced. Going abroad attracts families and assures them on the quality of their children’s training. Moreover it can also show them how serious the high school is and can welcome their teenagers properly. The admission to this European internship is a reward to motivated learners who regularly work. Nevertheless, the European construction is part of the school programme: History, geography, Civic Education, Economics and Management in all branches. This illustrates the flow of teaching. To reach our objectives, we must follow the official pedagogical references especially the third period of compulsory training in companies, that is in November-December 2015-2016. The trainees should then put into practice their technical competences and develop them once they are in enterprises. The mobility will be conducted in Madrid where we already have partners over there. We will choose 10 pupils aged 17 to 21 in final year, both girls and boys with level 4 in the following fields: Commerce, Administration Work and Management, Receptionists and Relations with clients. They are selected in the previous year that is in Première. The former periods of mobility were a success and allowed to our small school acquire a new dimension and be known for its originality and its dynamic efforts. In this respect, it is a must to carry on these efforts as this mobility has improved the effectiveness of our trainings and have become part and parcel of our pedagogical aim. We are happy and proud to present this specificity JAPY-European turnkey mobility via our website, internal newspaper, flyers, and displays as well as during our activities with partners from Lyon and the whole country These partners either intervene in the school or our pupils visit them in their place of work.
