Respect your culture
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school is going into a partnership with a Belgian and Finnish and a germany schools for a European project entitled :Respect Your Culture Learn to learn This project aims at reconciling pupils local and national culture with an European culture. Each activity linked with the project will lead to video conferencing and blog through exchanges in English language. Respect Your Culture allows us to facilitate work exchanges on teaching experiences in English. Mastering English language is essential and our team is aware of it,és that is the reason why we wish to be taught English language use. To feed our debates we definetely need a refresher course to make the project alive because our skills in English are not sufficient. Besides, we would like to develop English teaching in our classes through sports, cooking, reading and arts activities. So we expect from this training to be able to express ourselves clearly and spontaneously to achieve English class with our pupils. All the members of this project are motivated teachers eager to be more involved in European projects and practice English in their classes. But to do so, we need to be trained in the country itself facing situations that imply a complete language immersion in English. Thus we have chosen to be hosted at the inhabitants houses to facilitate our English language skills. Before our departure the classes on the internet and in London will allow us to strengthen and develop our basic knowledge of English. This communicative approach training course, should accentuate our understanding and expressing skills in order to let us teach English from kindergarten to the 5th year of primary school and to communicate with our European partners. In this school project, teachers as well as parents are involved and work altogether.
