The project aims to research and produce promotional material on renaissance cultural elements shared between Crete and Cyprus. Expected Results: The study of the primary material concerning the area, the settlements and the monuments of the Municipality of Lefki as well as their presentation, linked with the cultural heritage of Cyprus and respective representations of Renaissance works in Italy and Southern France, aims to offer the visitor a comprehensive picture of the sites and easy to understand information for their position and significance in the course of history. It is also sought to render an original the original appearance, interrelationships and the history of these monuments and of the place. The secondary material to be produced following the gathering, research and study of the primary material will be organised into printed and electronic presentations to be displayed on a touch screen in the villa Dei Mezzo or another available municipal venue (primary schools in the municipal ward) or through the website of the municipality of Lefki. Also, selective presentations will be stored on CD and distributed to distinguished visitors or at municipal events.
