Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Mar 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

This Youth Exchange project (Key Action 1 of the Erasmus + program) is carried out by the association Concordia and more particularly its office in the Rhône-Alpes region. It offers a group of young people between 18-30 from four countries (France, Iceland, Estonia, Greece) to participate in a 6-day intercultural exchange project on the topic of youth employability and inclusion. This project will take place from 26 to 30 october 2014 in a home for young workers in Villeurbanne called Totem Habitat Jeune and gather a group of 25 young Europeans to exchange on their different individual and national experiences and to participate to international workshops around this topic, using video as a support tool. Through participative and playful activities, bearing in mind each participants' culture, personality, and desires, the participants will benefit from a space for thinking and expressing themselves, to develop their confidence and their ability to enter the working life in a positive way. This project gives them the opportunity to think about the different levers they can pull to develop their employability, by focusing particularly on non-formal skills. These workshops, supplemented with times for dialogue and visits, will allow them to create a network of young Europeans, in order to share experiences, and maybe cooperate on further projects.
