Removing barriers to cross-border transit road between Socodor and Kétegyháza

The projects aim is to modernise certain roads within Socodor and Kétegyháza settlements, thus creating a better access to the national roads leading to the Vărsand-Gyula border station. In order to ensure the better flow of traffic, the modernisation and reconstruction of cc. 11 kms roads was implemented in the following distribution: 6.2 kms in Socodor, 4.8 kms in Kétegyháza. The modernised roads serves the needs of 2415 inhabitants of Socodor and 4155 inhabitants of Kétegyháza, the people crossing the border for commercial or tourism reasons, and also companies in the transport, tourism or commercial industry.
