Removal of the wood remains endangering the shipping on the Drava River (Drava's riverbed cleaning)
Start date: May 31, 2014, End date: Sep 29, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED 

Based on the agreement between the Water Management Authorities from Hungary an Croatia and in order to ensure safe navigation of the Drava, the maintanence of the river is a joint task of both countries. This also includes the marking of the direction, edge and depth of the waterway, and marking the location of obstacles, restrictions and navigation operations with conventional signs, and also involves the removing of the foreign objects and obstacles. Expected Results: Prevention of possible accidents, and the environmenttal pollution resulting from them, as well as the slowing down of the process of bank erosion.
