Networks for Change, is an activity of non-formal education that allows 3 young people between 18 and 30 express their personal commitment to the environment and society through voluntary unpaid work full time for 9 months in our city Ourense (Galicia-Spain). Through learning experiences, improved our volunteers and acquire skills for their personal, educational and professional development as well as for their social integration. With the European Voluntary Service (EVS), from Sustinea support transnational voluntary youth work. Our goal is to develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young volunteers, primarily to reinforce social cohesion in the European Union. Also, we promote active citizenship and mutual understanding among young people. EVS in our organization, realizaro through a series of activities Environmental Education, Conservation, Environmental Communication and Sustainable Rural Development. From Sustinea we were together for this SVE, with other legally established organizations, which send and host volunteers, such as Tools for Solidarity of Belfast, Associação Social Recreativa Juventude de Vila Fonche / Juventude and AMFI- Agenzia per la Mobilità and the Formazione Internazionale. This project enhanced its role, as promoting the direct participation of the / young people in the development and management of activities and establishing a true associative culture. Active and playful methodology allowed us to participate in the design, implementation and analysis of the results of each of the activities. The results were that young volunteers are endowed with sufficient tools to develop the ability to communicate with others, to organize in a collective framework, one of the greatest needs're young. This also contributed in the / young participants, to participate and especially to acquire responsibilities. The impact sought was the project in the countries of origin of the participants, the successful experiences shared by all during the SVE, showing them to the / young people that a better world is possible, they are not alone / as and that different environmental alternatives, which enables them to integrate socially and occupationally. The long-term benefits are being (as started already noted) improving social skills, employability and affective capaciadades of volunteers / as by promoting activities in a rural setting showing initiatives in rural respect the environment and promote social solidarity.
