Reclaim Agriculture - summer camp for sustainable agriculture
Start date: May 1, 2012,

Reclaim Agriculture - summer camp for sustainable agriculture is an exchange for 30 youngsters from Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands taking place from 5 to 10 July 2012 in the village of Oud-Heusden in the middle of The Netherlands. The exchange program covers workshops, excursions, discussions, public action and skill sharing activities on topics ranging from problems related to industrial agriculture to how to grow your own food in socially and environmentally healthy ways, from horizontal organising to realising an international youth camp. Participants of Reclaim Agriculture will have plenty of opportunities to learn from each other as well as from workshop leaders and trainers. The program will facilitate contact with the local community, organic farmers, as well as industrial agricultural companies, facilitating intercultural, urban/rural and intergenerational exchange. Reclaim Agriculture is organised by A SEED Europe (Amsterdam), in cooperation with Friends of the Earth Flanders (Ghent) and Youth Action for Environmental and Social Justice (Berlin).
