RECALL - Recognition of Quality in Lifelong Learning

The project aims at developing a system for verifying the quality of lifelong learning provided outside the formal school system by developing, disseminating and strengthening a European Quality Mark for non-formal training providers built on tested quality indicators and commercially sustainable procedure for managing and awarding the mark. Target groups include non-formal lifelong learning providers, social partners, employers, trade unions, training facilitators, adult learners, quality control administrators. As a result of the project extensive cross-sectoral trials of quality indicators will be carried out and a number of products will be developed such as application guidelines for training providers, network for peer mentoring and self assessment procedures, networks and application guidelines for providers and evaluators of the quality mark, data basis of best practices, of training providers in European Quality Mark and evaluators. The project is expected to improve the quality of lifelong learning non-formal education and training, to facilitate employers with regard to evaluation of the quality of non-formal adults training and to allow learners to benefit from a higher quality of non-formal learning.
