Razvijanje pridobljenih kompetenc strokovnih delavcev OŠ Kamnica

Primary school Kamnica would like to be the engine of the local comunity and has a desire of being good school for good people.
We are aware that only well qualified and motivated teachers can offer useful and quality knowledge to the pupils. Further education of teachers enables the attainment of educational goals.
We would like to improve the quality of internatialization and that is the reason we are in need of highly qualified teachers. We are going to plan the school vision and politics on the internatiolization and develop the international activities with partners abroad.
We would like to assure the quality of the projects and involve them in school curriculum; encourage the rationalization of curriculum elements with international orientation, successfully stand as a candidate in Erasmus+ projects, communicate and cooperate with partners abroad to improve language ability, the organization of teaching and learning and adoption and introduction of new methods and didactic resource. In our school there are many special needs pupils and the teachers need further education and knowledge.
In future we plan to develop acquired competence and knowledge, new learning methods and tools, language qualification and teaching organisation with following contents:
-adoption and introduction of complex reading strategies and critical thinking for better literacy,
- the emphasis on teaching special needs pupils,
- the implementation of ICT in all aspects of education,
- CLIL – content and language integrated learning - learning foreign language for young learners,
- cultural and natural heritage and cooperation of school and local community,
- successful integration of foreign pupils,
not only for personal growth but mainly because of our pupils who are going to partake in more quality education.
Learning is the way to knowledge. Knowledge is the way to learning with developing acquired competence. We acquire those with education also abroad. The teachers established the criteria to choose the participants in further education. We chose 5 teachers from different levels of schooling and subject groups. They will acquire comprehension of connection of folklore and curriculum. They will acquire printed music, dance notes which are going to improve their teaching skills.
They will gain new knowledge and improve the area of work with special needs pupils, understanding mutual relations, and more quality cooperation with parents. The knowledge will improve dealing with behavioural problem teenagers.
The seminars will contribute to improvement of knowledge in the area of communication and relations with colleagues and parents. Participants will share the acquired knowledge with their colleagues and participate in developing of communicational strategies.
They will learn to produce the learning materials with free software, get to know learning by using smart phones, iPad. They will search the methods of teaching and learning with ICT in different subjects to motivate the pupils.Learning Outcomes are focused on the understanding and use of mobile European Dimension, mobile learning using smart phones and tablets in the classroom and outside, free software and apps, webquests, podcasting and Screencasting, serious games and Virtual worlds, social networking, accreditation and assessment, digital rights management and digital image processing.
They will find interesting solutions to show natural and cultural heritage in local community, how to revitalize abandoned buildings, how to prepare exhibitions and events in local environment. They will explore some basic museum interpretation skills and concepts and helps participants to understand museums as complex and multi-layered, linear, ordered or random collections of artefacts, images, sounds and words. A proportion of the course will be dedicated to exploring practical eLearning solutions for use in the classroom and mobile eLearning methods to take learning outside the classroom.
All acquired knowledge will significantly enrich educational curriculum and positively affect our school, local community and school comunity in Slovenia.
