Raising the quality of life in the municipalities of Belica, Bulgaria and Makedonska Kamenica, FYROM through the preparation of technical investment projects for socialy significant buildings

The project will support the development of design project for two churches and one CIC. Partners will protect the rights of thoughts, conscience and religion of local Christian citizens. The renovation and rebuilt of two churches will ensuring the right of citizens to practice their religion. The current project will contribute to the provision of the two mountain areas with access to various cultural services (the CIC is the only place for cultural initiatives organization). The current project will support the prevention of internal migration from settlements to bigger towns and abroad will improve the utilization of cultural heritage and the quality of social and support infrastructure in non-urban areas, will assist the raising of the number of facilities and services for the residents, will support local municipal budgets in development of small scale design works for raising the overall attractiveness/image of the areas. Achievements: Under the project were elaborated working design project and project for recovery of the iconography for the Church St. Martyr George in Belitsa, which jointly make a feasibility study proving the need for immediate reconstruction of the Church. There were developed three working design projects for 2 churches (St. Martyr Georgein Belitsa, Bulgaria and the Church in Dulica, FYROM) and one cultural information centre. Furthermore, 2 projects for iconography of both churches were developed.
