The participants will be 25 students of the Stanislaw Staszic Complex of Schools No1 in Radomsko who specialise to be mechanical technicians, building technicians and car mechanics technicians. They will take part in one-month traineeships in German companies. The mobility is scheduled between 7th May 2017 and 3rd June 2017. Within the project, the young people will have accommodation, catering, transport, pocket money, uniforms and a special program that will expand their knowledge of German culture and history. The students will visit factories of famous German companies like BMW and will take part in trips to European cities such as Berlin and Dresden. Before the mobility the school will organize preparatory classes for the students that will include German language classes, culture workshops and motivation workshop carried out by a special teacher. The students will be insured, they will receive uniforms and pocket money. We will also organize an information meeting at school, during which we will answer all questions and explain any doubts regarding the mobility. The project will be carried out in accordance with the procedures of the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). We are going to sign the Memorandum of Understanding agreement with our partner orgaization and we will sign the Learning Agreements, documents that include the programme of the activities, with our students. Finally, we will assess the students' competences through the learning outcome cards. The students' traineeship participation will be monitored and the employers will give them the work certificates containing individual opinion about each student. At the end, all the students will be rewarded with the unified European documents - Europass Mobility. The main objective of the project is to increase the employment prospects of 25 students. The students will raise their professional competences and language skills, they will develop their personal and social skills, autonomy, motivation and entrepreneurship. The problem of unemployment among young people is still difficult to be solved. Our project can make a significant contribution to changing the employers' distrustful attitude towards young school graduates. Through participation in the project the young people will gain valuable experience in working for foreign companies. Theory and practice combined with the knowledge of new technologies and the possession of the Europass Mobility certificate will improve the perception of the young people in the eyes of their future employers. Traineeships abroad are also a chance to get to know other cultures, broaden their horizons and outlook, which will help them navigate the European work market in the future. The project also aims at raising the quality of professional education, developing the language and organizational skills of the school staff as well as the German partner's, i.e. the Vitalis company, staff. The programme will develop the school's intercultural awareness. It will also increase the innovative abilities and flexibility in the operation of the school.
