Quality and Complementarity in Cross-Border Technical Vocational Education (LUSZTECH)

The project focuses on general issues that vocational education faces in Romania and in Hungary, such as: increasing the competitiveness of vocational education graduates on the European labour market; a growing emphasis on the practicality of vocational education by continuously developing the practical training of students; providing a real acquisition of knowledge, skills and professional competence, in accordance with the required work force and with the employers demands etc. In the frame of the project it was planned to introduce courses focusing on the use of specialty software as CAD, NI Elvis, NI LabView, aiming at motivating the student to develop an interest in science.The main activities of the project are: Human resource development (obtaining skills for CAD, NI Elvis-LabView application), Applied educational activities, Activities of good practices in vocational education.The target group consists of 100 students, aged 16-19, being in initial training at partner schools in the fields of electronics, automatization and mechanics and 20 teachers.Among the project results: 2 new laboratories created, 1 web platform developed, 9 joint activities for learning, cooperation, good practices exchanges, 26 technical products created, 2 new curricula regarding CAD, NI Elvis- LabView elaborated.
