Travelling for learning is the mobility project that will be carried out by Technical School Županja. Participants will be 20 students who study for two vocations in our school – electrical technicians and computer technicians for mechanical engineering. The students will do their professional practice in Ireland for the period of two weeks in October 2016. It will be a great opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge of the things that they have learned in theory at school , and also they will get an insight into the European labor market. By doing their professional practice in Irish companies the participants will learn about new technologies and skills, they will improve their English competences, as well as gain more self-confidence and get familiar with the European civil society values. Being situated in a small town, the main problem that our school faces is finding the good quality companies where our students could do their professional practice. The main goals of this project in Ireland will be preparing participants for easier adoption of new knowledge, skills and technologies, improving their vocational competences and skills , widening their horizons as well as understanding the importance of lifelong learning.
