PuLLS - Public Libraries in the Learning Society
Start date: Oct 1, 2004,

The goal of the PuLLS project was to enhance the European Dimension of Lifelong Learning and to improve both the availability and the accessibility of learning opportunities for adults. In order to achieve this, the project sought to improve the role that public libraries could play in delivering learning opportunities through developing the concept of the public library as an open learning centre. Targeting improvements in adult literacy, partners worked towards the development of a European model for open learning whereby public libraries could develop, deliver and support adult learning, making specific use of new technologies.
