Průvodcovská činnost atraktivit cestovního ruchu v cílových destinacích

The main goal is to improve the skills and professional skills of young people in initial vocational training at the Secondary School ofTourism in Pardubice. The project will concern students of the second, third and fourth year. They will participate in intership in Slovenia, Germany, Italy and Spain. It will be a group of seven students and one professional internship supervision. Planned length of training period is 14 days, only the placement in Spain is due to the distance between destinations 17 days. Realized placement is tentatively set for September and October 2015, or April 2016. The completion of the project will extend the theoretical and practical skills of participants. In the final phase they will be able to act as guides as well as delegates. They will improve their language skills because the communication in foreign laguage is one of the main goals of the intership. They will acquaint themselves with the culture of the destination, they will get familiar with foreign environment. They will try creation educational materials in an e-learning portal. Till now they used our study site (http://moodle.skola-cestovnihoruchu.cz/) only as students. In general they will improve their communication skills, knowledge of geography and technology of tourism. The aspect of the project meets the objectives of the Lifelong Learning of the European priorities set out in the call. The project will have all three phases. Before the training program, students undergo a rigorous first-phase training (technique of tourism, tour operators, tourism geography), cultural and language training.In this phase, they will also prepare the guide texts in Czech and foreign languages. The second phase of the project itself will be an internship.The main aim of internship during their stay at destinations will be the tour operators in the tourism attractions. It will be selected the sites and attractions that are commonly encountered in the implementation of excursions into the area. In the third phase, after returning to the CR, then students will prepare a course in an e-learning portal. There will be included guide texts in Czech and foreign languages. Another outcome will be a PowerPoint presentation that introduce the development, progress, outcomes and benefits of internships. Students will be selected according to predetermined criteria (technical and language skills, interest in the issue, conduct, team cooperation, etc.). Criteria and results of the selection of students will be published on the school website. These internships could not take place without the help of partner organizations. The partner organizations in all four destinations are chosen very well.With these entities, our school has worked for a long time.
