PROYECTO DE MOVILIDAD EUROPEA DEL CEIP TORRES DE BALÀFIA II

The CEIP Torres de Balàfia is a small school, situated in a rural area. The main feature of the teachers team at the school is the curiosity and involvement for offering a high quality education to its pupils. The profile of the personnel who wants to be part of the Project of European Mobility is a committed professorship, wishing to improve its teaching competences and motivation.This project tries to be a continuation of our previous project, in which we have had the opportunity to start with a theoretical formation on the CLIL methodology, mathematics didactics and arts and crafts. Our actual need, is to be able to validate in a real and practical context what we have learned in the courses that we have realized in Malta and the United Kingdom. For it, we have chosen schools of Finland, since the education in this country represents an European paradigm: experience in language methodology (CLIL) that was in the Finnish schools where this new look was born towards learning of foreign languages, long trajectory in methods and skills of mathematics education that makes possible good academic results and an artistic and creative sensitization that it is possible to perceive of direct form.Our target is to do JobSadowing visiting several schools of infant and primary education and to gather information across instruments that previously we will have designed for such an end. As soon as the mobilities were finished, this information will be analyzed by the whole team of teachers and we will prepare a document that, in addition to exhibiting the information and the experience, will serve to reflect on what aspects we will include in our educational reality.The strong points of our new project are: to improve the teaching and linguistic competition of the professorship, to plan time and space to reflect on the acquired experiences and to share them with the school staff, the design of activities so that our pupils know the linguistic and cultural reality of Finland as a country and to establish contacts with other teachers of Europe for future activities that mark the way towards the internationalization.We understand that the acquired experiences, not only can be focused towards our organization, but our desire is to make them extensible to the community:- to other centers of the municipality and families, by means of an event where there will be exhibited the project and the conclusions.- and in Internet across our web page, Gateway and E-twinning platform.
