PROMOTING EUROPEAN ROMA HANDICRAFT CULTURE BY YOUTH ROMA EXCHANGE

CRAFT youth exchange project proposes increasing the awareness degree of 20 Romanian, Turkish, Slovakian and Polish Roma youth concerning their possibility to get involved as European citizens in the EU community for reviving a common identity element of the Roma culture (realizing wood, metal products, as well as practicing cobza and violin), common base for the Roma youth target group for activities as:" realizing free discussions, debates, team work, demonstrations, exhibitions of realized products, exposures, organizing Roma traditional evening nights out. The four partners, Anthropoesis, S&G System and Generation Association, People to People and Foundation of Aid for Children, propose like CRAFT methods the following: interpersonal and peer to peer communication, expressing ideas regarding Roma's integration in EU, stimulating questions to questions, arguments.During the 7 days, in Bucharest at the Technology and Business Incubator Centre (CITAf), the target group will have the possibility to involve in the civil servants' studies, to realize contracts with the entrepreneurs from CITAf, as well as to involve in the NGOs representitives' projects.
