"Promoting European Citizenship Through Media"

This training course is designed for young leaders and youth workers from EU and SEE countries, interested in promoting European Citizenship through youth media. The project involves young members of youth organizations.The training course aims at addressing the issues of European Citizenship and youth participation and providing an opportunity for those involved in youth work to improve their knowledge how to promote European Citizenship through media work with young people and as well as the Youth in Action programme as a tool for promoting youth participation.During the project TC participants will discuss the significance of youth participation and citizenship, exchange best practices and prepare different types of media products (press releases, video, newspaper, phøtoblog) in order to reach their target audiences to promote active citizenship.One of the expected outcomes of the course will be a video clip, created by participants during the training course where participants will express their thoughts on the training topic and show what European Citizenship means to them and how it can be promoted.
