Our project is aimed at achieving the objectives of the Copenhagen process by raising the quality of vocational education through innovative methods of teaching, qualified teaching and training staff, whose exchange of experiences and implementation of interesting solutions on the ground of our schools will help improve the professional skills of our students, increasing their chances of employment. It is addressed to three occupational groups of students: mechatronics technician (50 students), aircraft mechanic technician (25 students) and engineering equipment and renewable energy systems technician (25 students) over which 8 teachers and specialists in each branch will look after. Our students will leave in the months of November and December of 2016 in groups of 25 persons for a 3-week training to selected enterprises. The intermediate body is Intercultural Association Mobility Friends in the north of Portugal. The extensive experience of the intermediary partner in the implementation of EU programs (several dozen projects implemented at the high professional level), cooperation with a number of enterprises industry-convergent with our educational trends, high organizational efficiency, as well as attractive conditions of stay of young people determined, inter alia, the choice of our partners in Portugal. The aim of our project is to also compare the education systems in the professions: technician of renewable systems and devices, mechatronics technician and aircraft mechanic technician. The idea behind the project is the comparability of curricula, evaluation system of acquired skills and competencies and increasing transnational mobility. Our project involves the use of European tools confirming the acquired qualifications, such as Europass Mobility and elements of ECVET, which will move towards transparency and standardization of skills acquired by the participants of internships through certification and portability of guidelines of common instruments evidencing the acquisition of competence on international markets. Another goal of our project is to broaden students' knowledge and skills in additional foreign internships organized for the event known as "jobs of tomorrow", which are very popular among young people, and our experience in these areas is not too rich. Another objective is to improve the linguistic competence of our students and enriching their technical vocabulary in a natural work environment. The project is also implemented to meet the needs of our students with respect to learning new organizational solutions, principles of functioning in an international environment, communing with representatives of other cultures, religions, thus preparing our young people for the integration process of immigrants arriving to Poland. While the Centre for Vocational and Continuing Training through the implementation of the mobility of students will receive internationalization of the school and through additional promotion of the project in the environment and in the region will increase the interest in these directions for education which will positively influence the outcome of the next recruitment. While the exchange of experiences and learning practical solutions used in Portuguese companies, as well as analysis and comparison of training programs will contribute to modifying our curriculum, following the rise in the quality of education and continuous implementation of innovative solutions, including software. Participants of internships will be selected in the recruitment process and covered with the pedagogical and cultural preparation and language course (40-hour course in English). The project team consisting of a coordinator, three assistants-specialists in the profession and financial assistant will ensure the proper conduct of the project. Each of the stages of the project, including the preparatory stage, will undergo evaluation. 3-week mobility of the four groups of students will take place in months: November and December 2016. During the mobility monitoring of the proper course of internships and implementation of the program will be conducted , as well as evaluation of studies will be conducted in the form of daily interviews and surveys at the end of the stay of each group. Realization of the project from the position of the sending organization will be monitored by the coordinator with the aid of the project monitoring card . After returning to the country the stage of promotion and dissemination of the results of our project will take place. Among the more interesting projects we can include "The Day of Vocational Education", presentation at the Education Fair, an exhibition of photographs and interviews given by students, presenting the acquired knowledge and skills.
