Programa piloto para el diseño homogéneo en la UE de una formación profesional básica y de itinerarios curriculares de los agentes de desarrollo

The project aims the improvement of the fishery training system through the development of a training curriculum for fishery development agents (FDA) and related trainers training and materials. The partnership, 9 partners in 6 countries, have detected based on several studies about the sector, that, on one side the current profiles of the FDA does not meet the needs of the industry due to a deficit in the vocational guidance and training systems and on the other side the access of women to these professions is not offering a real equal opportunity. The curriculum being developed by the partnership will cover the competencies necessary to face the necessary re-conversion that the sector is going through with an European dimension due to the integration of the experiences and good practices collected by the several partners, will bring the IT competencies to overcome the digital illiteracy of the professionals and will promote the gender equality. The implementation of the project will include a step of development with training need analysis in relation to the FDA and respective trainers of the sector; development of a common training content and methodology comprising the gender dimension; establishment of an on-line permanent virtual seminar on training contents, methodologies and systems in the fishery sector; training of a group of trainers in each country according to the new curriculum; elaboration of the final products (Guide for vocational orientation and training in the fishery sector in two versions for trainers and for trainees) and a phase f testing and comparison of results among partners.
