Professionalism of andragogy

In this project will participate 3 members of the Croatian Andragogy Society, which acts as the project applicant, and VHS Hannover as a partner in the project. Members of the HAD will spend 5 days in the partner institution, and the mobility is planned for April of 2017. The main objective of the project is professionalization of adult education with the following topics: functioning of the organizational structure, financing and the ways of improving the financing of the organizational structure, the role of professional associations in adult education, organization of training/ teaching, the introduction of quality systems and networking at European level. The project makes the next stage of development of teachers to apply new and innovative teaching methods in adult education, and professionalization of adult education, as the members of the HAD continuous work in this regard. Through job shadowing in partner organization VHS Hannover, project participants will gain a direct insight into the methods and manner of work in one of the most qualified adult education institutions in Europe. Continuous training and upgrading, and active participation in the promotion of adult education VHS Hannover an ideal example of how to achieve certain results in adult education. With participation in mobility project participants will increase their competence in the area of strengthening the basic and transversal skills (modern teaching methods, the design of modern educational programs, e-learning methods, encouraging entrepreneurial skills, creativity, innovation in the work). By participating in the project it will be provided to raise the level of language competence and ensure the professional development of participants, to strengthen European cooperation partners and internationalization participants. Furthermore, the objective of the project is the introduction of innovative methods of increasing the participation of adults in lifelong learning, especially those with poor basic skills and disadvantaged. Croatian Andragogy Society will make an evaluation of the project consisting of three phases, which will assess the impact that the project is left on the participants, and the amount of satisfaction or fulfillment of project objectives resulting from the project. Dissemination activities will be carried out during the 12-month project, and after by it`s long-term influence.
