Project backgroundIncreasing changed demands in professional activities that mean no longer the restriction on regional job markets but the expansion into European areas should be integrated into the apprenticeship of the students. That’s why the intercultural project management competence of the teachers should be improved. Possibilities of exchange and finding new project partners should be used in advanced educations. So projects can be planned better for teachers and students. Aims of the project:Acquirement and development of project management competence and intercultural competence of the project participants and so they will be able to influence the work of all teachers at their schools in this way. Number and tasks of the participants:The three teachers shall acquire actively competence during their advanced training course, also abroad. They shall improve their language knowledge and motivate their colleagues and students to live the European idea and to integrate it into the lessons. Furthermore the planning competence should be stressed much more.Description of activities:Participation in intercultural project management coursesMethodology of project realization:Skills which were acquired in the advanced training courses should be used in the lessons and European projects should be established at school.Description of the target results and the long-term expected benefit:After finishing the advanced training courses teachers will have an expended understanding of executing, developing, planning and managing European projects. So they can prepare students much better for the international job market, considering the improvement of important social competency and different languages. Description of the expected results, effects and potential long-term benefits: The seminar experience will boost the motivation for intercultural learning and intercultural cooperation and the work at the school with European projects will be more effective.. The training will enable teachers to inspire our teaching staff even more for European projects, and to use the project work as a means to expand the students‘ intercultural, language and social skills. By expanding these skills our students will be better prepared in the future for the demands of the European and international labour market.
