The project was created in response to the need for proper preparation of youth for entry into the labor market and tailoring their professional education with the needs of the labor market. The applicant is aware of the fact that school plays an important role in the process of preparing youth for undertaking actions related to securing their first job. Therefore, the applicant is conducting the project in order to prepare the students to undertake actions in the labor market and to equip young technicians with the ability to navigate different economic and social circumstances. Those students from the Technical School Complex in Strzyzow that participate in the project and gain unique skills and social competence will increase their chances of employment, improving their position in a group of people with a potentially high risk of unemployment. This internship will eliminate the barriers to professional activation in a difficult local labor market, where lack of experience in one's profession is a major barrier to obtaining work. They will have a better chance to meet the very high demands of employers stemming from high unemployment, which often precludes any possibility of finding a job in one's region of residence. The anticipated results of the project are: – practical experience and skills, – new professional skills and familiarity with new work methods, – increased chances of employment and entry into the European labor market, – increased professional attractiveness that allows for the obtainment of a competitive position in the labor market upon graduation from school, – documentation of achieved skills by Europass Mobility, – knowledge of technical terminology in the German language, – improved competency in the German language through its practical use, – development of social communication skills and emotional maturity, – acquisition of openness and tolerance towards different cultures and traditions, – adaptation and use of the program's practical training at school in terms of employers' requirements, – better technical and marketing standing of the school, – increased motivation of the youth and adult community to learn throughout their lives.
