The project called „ Auto Professionals in Europe„ has been founded by the Technical College „ Traian Vuia”of Focșani, Romania but organized in partnership with „High School Crafts Automotive and Transport” of Bourg en Bresse, in France. THE INITIATION OF THE PROJECT has emerged from the teachers and students’ need to improve the professional preparation standards in the TECHNICAL FIELD, which would allow the participants to participate to a European internship course and to step forward towards their professional future. On account of economic crisis, the Technical College „ Traian Vuia”in Focsani cannot provide a functional modern workroom to assist the professional practice for the qualifications „ Transport Technician” and „ Auto Electrician and Electronics”, and students have been practicing in improvised workrooms, which do not meet the European up-to-date standards. TARGET GROUP-The project aims a number of 10 participants, nine graders from the Technical Field, whose specialization are Mechanics and Auto Electrician and Electronics. They are going to attend the following modules: Car Motion Transmission Systems and Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems. AIMS -To support the students’ submission to a professional training in order to acquire knowledge, develop competencies and skills which would ultimately lead to active citizenship, social skills, personal fulfillment and integration into the European market. -To ensure greater transparency and local, national and European recognition of the competencies that the beneficiaries are going to assimilate and consequently, be certified for. The two parties that are going to implement the project are the Technical College„ Traian Vuia’ of Focsani, Romania and „ High School Crafts Automotive and Transport” of Bourg en Bresse,in France. SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES 1. An initial professional training for students VET 1 and 2. 2. Continuous learning for teachers The practice training course is going to be divided into two parts and each of it will last 2 weeks. The first Flow will take place in October, 2016 -10 students will participate. The results of the project will be analyzed and displayed so as to optimize their value, strengthen the impact and finally, to integrate them in the local, national and European activities of training and informing. The results are: TANGIBLE- articles, exhibits, video clips, social diary, tutorials, project portfolio and a WEB page development; Glossary of technical terms, diagrams with the interpretation of the measurements, drawings of machine parts, Power Point presentations of how the automobile systems work, and researches on what a „Transport Technician” job requires; INTANGIBLES: -Methods, procedures, personal pedagogical experience; -Surveys on the advantages of a professional training in Europe -Reliance on using the latest technology in the field of automobiles, a higher level of awareness in the importance of evaluation instruments, certification and feedback after the training session. -Students Self assessment achieved through awareness of personal principles, skills, weaknesses, strengths and steadiness in the career. -Strong relation between self confidence and orientation on the labour market. THE IMPACT of the project will be: LOCAL – through the improvement of the school image and integration in the European context which would lead to investment in transversal competencies, open learning, continuous learning and prioritization of the educational activities to the contentment of the economic agents of working with well prepared students. REGIONAL-through the development of human resources for a professional training on the labour market, a transparent and favorable public opinion towards the Technical College ‘Traian Vuia’ and the analysis and presentation of the results. NATIONAL- through the maintenance of a good relation and cooperation of the institutions involved, namely, the Technical College „Traian Vuia”in Focsani and the Tehnical College „Gh. Balș”, in Adjud „the Tehnical College „M. Costin” in Roman, the Tehnical University „Ghe. Asachi ”of Iași, and Politehnica University of Bucharest. EUROPEAN- the international exchange, the elaboration of other Erasmus +AK1 projects, professional training and AK2 strategic partnerships. The budget granted to the project goes to € 26862.00
