The project “Vocational education experience for innovative techno workforce: VET training for renewable energy sector in Italy” mobility provided extension and exchange of experience for training centres' “BUTS”' staff in charge for the development and educational services both proactive and forward-looking to the development of sectoral demand for new professions and special programs. The project objective - to generate ideas and know-how for a new innovative training offer in the labor market of RES technologies. The implemented project involved one week mobility for 2 representatives of the training centre "BUTS" in Calabria region in Southern Italy within work program designed for the intention to become familiar with the training experience of renewable energy sector. The designed program scheduled meetings and discussions with vocational education providers and policy makers from the Calabria region (Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale A. Monaco, IPSIA Marconi, Istituto d’istruzione superiore "ITC Cosentino-IPA Todaro", Euroform RFS ) and visiting the regional renewable energy resource agency ALESSCO . As the host organization Euroform RFS by its' profile also provides VET education of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th level under the framework of EQF (as well as NQF) so both educational institutions during discussions seek for mutual interests in occupational training programs and validation and assessment of learning outcomes in informal and non-formal learning.The work program covered 4 topics helpful • to study vocational education system in Italy • explore the experience of a particular energy sector - renewable energy sector in Italy • provide experience in validation of the learning outcomes • start to develop ideas for potential project integrated within the strategic approach of both organizations seeking for modernization and internationalization of the vocational education in their countries. The implemented mobility project has direct impact on the professional and personal development of the training centres’ “BUTS” staff as the beneficiaries within the mobility obtained knowledge for expansion both their individual experiences and general competence within international professional environment that will serve them as well as the company when developing and designing innovative VET training solutions. Mobility results definitely contribute to further education service solutions (creating innovative training) to build a comparable educational programs to the labor market in accordance with its initiatives and demand. It is envisaged that more and more skilled workforce that can adapt to the increasingly open labor market become a challenge for education providers. So it is intended to develop comparable, acceptable and readable qualifications in offer and the implemented mobility in Italy will also indirectly contribute to the process.
