Practice in EU - the best way to gain experience.Urgency of the Project: today‘s labor market needs a skilled specialist able to adapt to new working conditions, able to work qualitatively, rapidly, independently. A school, student and a teacher as a main motive power, needs new subject and methodological experience in European context, that‘s Simnas agriculture school aspires after.Project coordinator and its aims: Simnas agriculture school providing primary vocational education, works out mobility Project „Improvement of VET education in the real work place". The members of the national consortium are Daugai and Veisiejai business and technologies schools. All 3 schools are in the same region of Lithuanian - Dzukija.The duration of the Project is13 month. The hosting institutions of this project are Hotel Club Belcekiz Beach in Turkey, ecological farm in Iceland. SZUM will improve students competencies and qualification during the placement in a hotel. While cooperating we‘ll try to adapt good experience from our partners in Turkey and Iceland. To improve the quality of workers in agricultural sector, builders, cooks and hotels workers professions students practical preparation acquired competencies making closer to the European ones.Participants of the project are students:6 cook specialty;6 hotel workers specialty;4 workers in agricultural sector specialty;4 builders specialty.During project will be 4 mobilities with 6 weeks period: 2 mobilities to Turkey and 2 mobilities to Iceland.The goals of the Project:1. To improve common and Professional competencies and acquire new ones during the practice in other countries.2. To improve the knowledge of the foreign language and communicative skills.3. To disseminate acquired experience during the practice in vocational institutions and Lithuanian enterprises.Project results:1. Practice in Belcekiz beach hotel in Turkey and farm in Iceland.2. Improved skills and competencies and acquired new ones.3. Acquired experience disseminated among friends and teachers.4. Improved knowledge of foreign language and communicative skills.5. Increased wish to get cooks and waitress- barmen profession, become qualified specialist and successfully integrate oneself into labor market.Simnas agriculture school together with member of national consortium will coordinate and execute Project activities, will organize dissemination of the Project results.
