PRO TERRIS - Professionals directed towards the Valorisation of Territorial Resources and Typical Products in the Agro-Alimentary, Tourist and Catering Sectors

The PRO TERRIS project aims at identifying the skills and competencies related to three comparable sectors, namely the agro-alimentary, tourist and catering sectors. The main objective being to develop the multiple skills levels of employees in addition to supporting the recognition of formal, non-formal and informal training to improve workforce employability, flexibility and mobility. The project will develop; indicators for the definition of training needs, support tools able to match supply and demand on the labour market, a skills portfolio and a model for certification. Project beneficiaries include young people in initial vocational training or seeking their first job, adults at risk of labour market exclusion, managers/designers of training programmes, lead industry bodies for the identified sectors and related social partners. Dissemination plans the introduction of a dedicated project website, the publication of a project newsletter, the organisation of local workshops and the establishment of local networks for dissemination in each of the participating countries.
