The project A Natural Garden in eco-village focuses on enhancement of land and land in its natural form. This project aims to build a natural edible garden by means of permacultural design. Two volunteers from the Czech Republic and Poland will participate in this project, who are interested in sustainable living, permaculture and want to gain experience of living in an eco-village. The main activities of the project include theoretical training of permacultural design, observation of the place where the garden will be created, planning, design, implementation of a natural garden, gardening and harvesting. Activities will be implemented by various methods, such as theoretical studies, discussions with supervisors and residents of eco-village, observation drawing and design of the garden through observation and informal learning, gardening activities (mulching, planting, watering, mowing, picking berries, drying). Secondary activities include the activities of natural engineering, animal welfare or organizing courses of natural engineering. Volunteers gain the possibility to create a natural garden in eco-village through permaculture design, beginning with its planning through implementation to harvest its fruits. During this long-term creation they gain knowledge, skills and practical experience related to permaculture, permaculture gardens and the sustainable living. The project strongly supports the personal development of volunteers, as well as their opportunities in professional life. The eco-village and its visitors will benefit from the creation of a natural garden as volunteers create something that will remain visible and usable continue on long-term basis.
