The project „Application of innovative learning strategies in the educational process" has two activites „Encouraging creative thinking“ and "Play to Learn: Teaching and Learning Strategies combining Games and Technology in the Classroom“ as its fundamental activities. This mobility enables skills, knowledge and experience strenghtening in domains of creative thinking and mastering tools for innovative problem solving (ICT). It encourages interest in global issues contrary to the local ones, it supports the growth and usage of imagination in domains of personal and professional development and provides internacional experience and experts linkage for the sake of good practice experience sharing.
Our institution has recognized this mobility as a chance for acquiring fundamental competence related to our strategical goal, which is improving conditions for optimal growth of autonomus, creative and innovative preschool children, in particular of above average competence children - gifted and talented children. On the grounds of high achivement in that domain of our work, we plan to engage ourselves in educating our institutions' professional staff and that of other preschool institutions to encourage giftedness through the work of our kindergarten as future Centre of professional development.
Therefore, in this mobility we would wish to include three of our educators, pedagogist, psychologist, speech therapist and the headmaster (in total: seven of our employees) who posses certain knowledge and experience in working with children and encouraging their creativity and experience in transferring knowledge to other fellow experts in preschool education. We expect quality of these competence to improve and that our fellow experts will be given an international perspective and experience, which would enable us, as Centre of professional development, to give our participants the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience on higher level.
With this mobilities we tend to achieve a significant investment in raising the level of competence of professionals, which is one of the strategic objectives of EU policies. Gifted children without adequate incentives and conditions often remain unadjusted, and their high potential untapped and therefore the work on improving conditions of their progress in school would be a contribution increasing their chances for successful integration into society.
Also, we believe that the personal potential of each child develop if provided optimum conditions and support the social environment. The feeling of personal success with a favorable climate and communication in the educational groups has a positive effect on children emotional and social development and leads to the development of the child's extraordinary potential that permanently affects the quality of life of the child, his primary middle and society as a whole.
We want to be part of this story, we want to be better and more successful in our work with children and develop our own potential.
Es participants we will have the opportunity to discuss, explore, take part in activities and understand how we can plan and run our project in order to achieve the quality criteria for obtaining : pedagogical innovation and creativity, curricular integration, collaboration, use of technology, sustainability and transferability and lastly results and potential longer term benefits .
