The aim of the project was to develop teachers professional competencies and skills in English language teaching , and innovate and develop communication through information and communication technologies. The idea of the project was to mobilize students so that they were able, willing and motivated enough to participate in projects related to cross-border cooperation and communication with peers abroad. Topics and activities were planned so that acquired knowledge could be used for their practical application in the form of the creation of promotional material about the region.The project included tasks that required the participation of two teachers in training courses abroad. The ICT resources with the individual process steps and outputs were used. Teachers who attended planed courses were selected by the school in the formal selection according to predetermined criteria. Participants are qualified English teachers who annually participate in various methodological seminars . They are able to develop their teaching skills for the benefit of students and the whole school and are able to record and disseminate acquired knowledge.The choice of partners was conditional on the field of education for the project implementation. Selected partners provide courses that were directly related to the project. Selected foreign school has a long experience in teaching teachers at the international level. Teachers worked under the guidance of highly qualified lecturers. All tasks resulting from the mobility needs of teachers were finished. Participants improved core competencies and skills to work in the field of ICT, gained the skills needed for improving the quality of teaching and learning and using ICT, gained abbility to use innovative methods of teaching and the ability to use them internationally, improved their language skills and strengthened intercultural awareness, developed international cooperation and strengthened the development of education. They had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with teachers from other European countries who also participated in structured courses.The project included the following activities: selection of the right staff to undertake mobility based on predefined criteria, pre-registration of employees selected for individual courses at partner schools, obtaining detailed information about the program planned course with organizational information for the stay, preparation of seminary for participants of mobility before travelling, completion of the planned mobility abroad, evalution of results and learning outcomes in accordance with the criteria set before travelling, dissemination of project results and follow-up, a final report. After completion of the major project activities, the evaluation of the project results on the basis of predetermined criteria followed, then comparing the results of the questionnaires and the learning students outcomes followed. The essential element was using increased students motivation and learning outcomes to involve pupils in e-Twinning programme, and the involvement of other schools from the region to the formation of podcasts and presentations about the region.Dissemination of project results took place in form of seminars for teachers from neighboring schools, the information was published in regional newspapers and on the school webside.
