Strengthening the international dimension of education by enriching the professional competences and linguistic skills resulting from direct contact with the European working environment, with other cultures and their educational systems 3. Recognition of the competences gained by transferring them to the Romanian educational system and their correlation with those in the EU in order to be easily recognized across borders. Thematic content: T1. Analog electronic circuits T2. Digital electronic circuits T3. Specific parameters of electronic circuits The placement in Portugal meets the needs of the participants and it is meant to develop general technical abilities which are necessary for the module Electronic Circuits for a good transition from school to active life. This project insures the placement of the Romanian students for practical experience in Portuguese specialized companies and offers the possibility to develop their professional skills for their future professional careers. Under the direct guidance of experts in the field of electronics, the participants will develop skills and abilities according to the ones in the occupational standards. The placement is designed for two flows of students: - Flow 1 - will have the stage between 03/01/2015 - 03/21/2015 (3 weeks - 90 hours, 6 hours / day), Module IX - Electronic Circuits for the qualification Mechanical technician for maintenance and repairs - Flow 2 - will have the stage between 28/02/2016 - 03/19/2016 (3 weeks - 90 hours, 6 hours / day), Module IX - Electronic Circuits for the qualification technician in mechatronics The expected results will be 32 students with professional competences obtained in an international context. Based on these professional competences, the validation committee will determine their appropriate grade Module IX - Electronic Circuits. We estimate that at least 75% of the participants will get grades from 9 -10 and 25% will get 7-8 for the module they studied within the course. Regarding the language competences acquired through the language course and the use of English during the internship (the language of the project is English), we estimate that 60% of participants will have a linguistic level of minimum A2 and about 40% will have a minimum of A1. We estimate that the impact will be observed on the short, medium and long term. For the participants the impact will be noticed on a short term through the certificates they got (Europass certificate, language certificate ), the validation of credits and grades, motivation for the studied topic. On a medium / long term, the students will be aware of their belonging to UE in order to become good Europeans, they will pass the final exams and the number of students who will find a job after graduation will increase. At institutional level, the network of international contacts will be enlarged in order to develop new partnerships, the schools materials will be improved by using the professional portfolio made by the students during the stage (methods, test, exercises), the institution will have access to different learning platforms the teachers will be motivated to use new teaching techniques (abt 10%) in their own classes, the European dimension of the institution will be developed, the school will find new sponsors and the general image of the school will be improved. The sustainability of the project will be assured by the professional portfolio which will be used by the teachers during their classes and by continuing the partnerships with new projects.
