With the implementation of the "Challenges for young people" project was applied new methods of education and informal learning. The young people acquired new competencies and personal development. They had broaden their world view and improved their competence in English, increased their interest in intercultural communication and had been encouraged to be active citizens with EU identity when they communicate with volunteers. Project aims were informal training significant themes, provoking the initiative of young people for an active participation, healthy lifestyle, promoting volunteering in Tervel and Dobrich region, increasing the international character of the organization. The project was related to work in a multicultural environment and affected for easier integration of minorities, to develop the interests of young people and understanding of their free time, promoting youth mobility, particularly mobility under the Erasmus + and consulting of young people for inclusion in programs, organizing events, preparing promotional materials and promoting the activities of the organization. With the help of this project focused on the unity in cultural diversity in the European Union. In the "Challenges for young people" project included three young people from Spain, Armenia, the Czech Republic, who participated in 10 months of voluntary service in Tervel, Bulgaria. All of them completed a master degree and wish to gain more experience in their professional interests, improve their skills and competencies and acquire new ones. The main activities of the project are preparation, management and evaluation of voluntary service, volunteer activities: office activities related to the promotion of volunteering and those needed in the administration of projects - creating contacts with partners, information search, dissemination of information, maintenance and promotion of the organization?s Facebook page; information and advisory activities - acquainting pupils and young people with the opportunities for involvement in volunteering under the program Erasmus +, acquaintance with the sources of information, necessary documents - covering letters, CV; activities with the youth clubs in schools; assistance in organizing various initiatives, in the production of information boarded for various occasions and problems; participation in trainings on various problems of young people; art activities with children at risk for prevention of anti-social activities; work with young people in workshops; sports activities with the young people from organization and the city; participation in voluntary campaigns, in campaigns for cleaning and protecting the environment; assistance the activities of the dance formation in the preparation of dance and stage performances; informal English language course. The main methods of operation were learning by practice, teamwork, interactive and artistic, learning by experience - role plays, workshops. By communicating with volunteers the young people had the opportunity to touch the other cultures, learn more about the life, customs and traditions of the other country. Comparing the two cultures they found differences but also many similarities. This provoked them to learn more about the world around them, the proximity of the other nations and made them feel part of the European family. The project led to the integration of different ethnic groups, creating a tolerant environment, acceptance of differences and respect the rights of everyone. Work in the clubs led to: prevention of addictions, disease and leading a healthy lifestyle, ecological education. Sports activities in the leisure time, easy access to sports facilities had a part of a healthy lifestyle and prevention of addictions. In the project encouraged incorporation of new ideas into existing work in ?Docho Mihaylov? Vocational School and the youth work. The adoption of three volunteers contributed to the increasing of volunteers in Dobrich region and disseminated volunteering at local and regional level. Coexistence of volunteers from different countries and their contact with the local community led to the development of European consciousness, to promote opportunities for preparation and participation in European projects to promote the principles of European politics. With the activities carried out by volunteers in the local community brought the concept of a unified Europe. With the project established and strengthened the partnership between host and sending organizations, which in the long term affected the number and quality of their future projects.
