This project also wants to contribute toward labour mobility in the area of vocational/professional training. This project also wants to support the growth of business sectors which are dominant in the country – automobile industry and industry of electrical engineering, and to prepare professionals to work in the fields of technology of production and logistics. Secondary education of SOŠT in Humenne significantly assists in fulfilment of this strategy in the area of theoretical knowledge and this project should ensure continuity with the practical part of the education/training.The school is located in the region where there is stagnation of interest in the areas of electrical engineering and economics. Our aim is to show public that our school prepares qualified workers/graduates and also to improve the quality of professional profile of the school. The project shows students different work opportunities in companies, which helps to increase attractiveness of the school in the region. We also support interest in the fields of electrical engineering and economics and fill up missing number of graduates who are demanded at the labour market in Slovak Republic and EU.Active participation of students in the working process will be crucial because nowadays the school practice has only demonstrative character. The main contribution of this project is to fulfilment of objectives in the area of vocational and professional focus of students. This project also focuses on forming personal characteristics of participants who take part in the project as well as spending their leisure time meaningfully. The participants of the project will be boys and girls. Many of them will spend their time away from their families for the first time so they will have the opportunities to learn some interpersonal skills, how to cohabite with peers, adapt to new environment. They will have to create strict daily routine, follow the rules, learn basic rules of budgeting etc.The specific objectives for students are to:- get practical skills and experience in the areas of electrical engineering, automation, economics, information technologies, communication technologies,- work in manufacturing company,- apply learned knowledge in the practice,- get professional language skills as well as computer skills,- get to know new working technologies, learn how to manage the company. This project is not focused on improving language skills of students but to provide qualified practice for them so they will be able to actively participate in the working process. And this is the main reason why we have chosen the partner from Czech Republic. We did a survey among our students and their demand was to practise in the neighbouring countries so they have more opportunities to find a job there in the future.A lot of our students are forced to work abroad because of high level of unemployment. And the experience of working in the foreign country can be very useful for young generation. This experience also helps to build new skills which are necessary for students who want to find their place in any European countries. We think that this helps students from social disadvantaged families who will also have the opportunity to learn and get new skills and maybe they will have a better chance to find a job abroad. The contributions to the companies are:- education of young generation as a new working force – passing their experience and skills to young people,- satisfaction of former workers with the work and attitude of students as well as that students with their activity will be able to motivate workers to higher productivity.
