PRAXIS – Pratiche per l`Innovazione di Sistema

The project aims at developing innovative educational opportunities of teachers and trainers. This includes among others the studying and creating models about new skills and youth languages generated by web technology, to be integrated in daily teaching practices. Furthermore, the production of a methodological model for teaching and training innovation to be transferred into teaching methods, forming a training path suited for different disciplines and aims. This will be done by investigating on non formal web developed practices within youth communities on European level and a description of the languages, abilities and skills they generate. This will lead to learning models suitable and adaptable to any subject areas and to developing a “sharing and exchange area” on transnational/European level for teachers and practitioners. Target groups for this project are teachers and trainers, aiming at improving their communication with students. Targeted sectors are training institutions, research centers, educational institutions, and other related institutions occupied with formal and non-formal learning. Potential users are all professionals in teaching and training and all participants of training activities. Planned results are: (1) a project website, (2) a modular training model (in IT and EN), (3) a theoretical-practical summary of the model, (4) Analysis and evaluation of the modules, (5) a guide for the use (in EN and IT on web), and – a final evaluated version of the models and modules (on web and in form of DVD and /or CDRom in En and IT), as well as – a Manual presenting the theory, methods and results). Valorisation will be done by the direct and ongoing involvement of the stakeholders, the creation of a transnational network of teachers, the website and the evaluation activities. The short term impact is the support of the the teach/trainer community in general. The long term impact will be the development in change in the teachers’ /trainers’ roles by combining methodology and technology in an innovative way.
