The practice stay at the Austrian school in Istanbul serves to exchange experiences on pedagogical approaches and teaching methods, especially in terms of foreign language teaching of pupils of Turkish mother tongue. The St. George's College in Istanbul was selected by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education and Women, as it already has a long experience in international collaborations. The participant of our school is an experienced foreign language teacher and media educator who will use the 14-day stay in Istanbul to convey through video interviews the particular difficulties in learning a foreign language of the students both in Salzburg and Istanbul. These recorded interviews can then be viewed and reflected by the colleagues and several vintages of students. Both organizations benefit from shared experience.
