Project " Apprenticeship without borders" carried out in the framework of Erasmus + includes conducting apprenticeship in Rimini in Italy, of students from „Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych” in Warka. The project is aimed at ensuring a smooth transition of students from education to employment, with particular emphasis on the development of their mobility. The aim of the project is to increase the freedom of movement of young people in an international working environment, through practical learning of future professions and achieving language competency. The project will also establish new professional contacts and understanding of the labor market abroad. Implementation of the program will allow you to extend the students’ horizons and their acceptance of diversity of national cultures in the European Union. The aim of the project is to improve interpersonal and social skills, increase self-confidence and motivation; self-reliance.The total number of the project participants is 32 pupils. In the first group participants of the project there will be 16 students from secondary technical school of logistics and nutrition and gastronomy services. The second group, consisting also of 16 students, will be composed of the students from secondary technical school of hotel administration. Each group will be accompanied by two attendants.Students of our school are, in the vast majority, the inhabitants of the small surrounding villages. They chose professional education in the secondary technical school to increase their chances on the labor market. They were selected to participate in the project according to the criteria connected with the educational results and the exemplary conduct at school.Project activities will take place in a planned manner in the following stages: preparation for departure, internship, analysis and evaluation after returning to Poland and dissemination of results. With the aim of proper preparation before departure the following activities will be carried out: organizational meetings, additional Italian language courses for beginners, cultural workshops, dealing with stress –course, Italian language course and course informing about the potential dangers during the journey. During their stay on the site there has been planned: a four-week apprenticeship and cultural programs. The pupils will be accommodated at budgetary hotels with full board. At each stage they will be provided with practical and logistical support for each of the activities planned in the project (travel arrangements, accommodation, insurance, safety and security of participants, mentoring and support to the participants.)Project management will be carried out using the following contracts: MoU “Memorandum of Understanding” - defining learning outcomes and “Learning Agreement” dealing with the issue of training, tasks and the scope of responsibilities of participants of the internship. Thus, at each stage of the project the learning outcomes of apprenticeships will be known and understood by all parties involved.Expected outcomes of the project will include: increasing the mobility of young people, achieving awareness of the importance of linguistic diversity, acquiring the skills to work in a team and individually, raising the level of knowledge and competence in the course of exchanging experiences, increasing the skills of usage of modern IT and communication technologies, preparing students to work by increasing practical skills relating to the performed profession, increasing management skills of financial resources and free time, increasing motivation to learning, including foreign languages, improving social skills, tolerance, responsibility for themselves and for others, increasing language skills, developing intercultural competence, increasing knowledge of Italy, building the common European identity.Participants will receive certificates from the host organization of the completion of internship in the framework of Erasmus +. Each participant will also receive a Europass Mobility describing exactly what professional benefits they have achieved through the internship. Each participant will also receive a certificate of completion of the Italian language course, held as a part of the language preparation and the language course certificate issued at the end of the program. Participants will also receive certificates of internship, which fulfill the statutory requirements in this area according to the (ECVET) European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training.The potential long-term benefits of the project will include: reducing the level of unemployment in the local community through greater competency and mobility of inhabitants, increasing the involvement of local authorities and educational institutions in the activities of schools, establishing contacts with schools in other EU countries, setting a model for other schools, in the region, to follow and activate their actions.
