Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Comission of National Education School of Agrotechnology and Economics with German partners have prepared the project “Internship in Turyngia – the opportunity for a good job” for Erasmus + programme. The project is planned to be carried out from 01.06.2015 to 01.06.2017. Our school is going to cooperate with Siegmundsburger Haus Weraquelle GmbH, Hotel zu Keiserpfalz, Hotel Linderhof, Hotel Rennsteig, Waldhotel Rennsteighöhe, Hotel Mühlhäuser Brauhaus zum Löwen and Hotel Thiemsburg in Thüringen . 36 students will be able to undergo training in German companies. They will be sent there in three groups with a German speaking teacher. The first group will stay in Germany from 30.03.2016 to 29.03.2016 (12 students + the supervising tutor), the second group from 04.10.2016 to 04.11.2016 (12 students + the supervising tutor) and the third group will leave in March and come back in April 2017. The target group are students in professions of: food and catering services technicians, cook and waiter technicians and landscape architecture technicians. The training will take place in first-class hotels where students will be able to gain professional and linguistic competence in the kitchen, restaurants as well as in gardens and other green areas surrounding a hotel (depending on the profession). Prior to their training abroad students will be required to finish the compulsory course and pass the test prepared by European Commision on the platform. Participants will be also provided with a language course (with the certificate confirming the completion of a course), professional training and team work course and first-aid course. They will be also informed about their insurance and how to sensibly deal with their pocket money. In order to ensure the proper management of the project, the school signed a Partnership Agreement with SHW which also represents other hosting organizations. If the project is approved, an Agreement about the Preparation Programme will be signed. One part of this agreement will be a Commitment to the Assurance of the Mobility Quality. Our project also benefits from the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). After the end of the internship the project participants will receive Europass Mobility documents as well as learn to write Europass CV. They are going to use these documents while trying to find a job. The course of the project will be monitored and it will be evaluated both during the implementation and at the end. Moreover, the aims of the project are consistent with the aims of the Erasmus+ programme. We hope that the project will contribute to the implementation of the strategies connected with the development of Europe „Europe 2020”. The project will also contribute to the development of our school and the region (Kolbuszowa County and Podkarpacke Voivodeship) – we will promote international cooperation as well as possibilities to benefit from the European sources in order to raise the quality of vocational teaching. The school will undertake various actions in order to make the results of the project visible and known. A few of them are listed below: • Articles about the project on the school website and in the local press. • The participants and their supervising tutors (teachers from our school) are going to prepare a photo documentation to be published on the school website, to be displayed in the school building and during our School Open Days. • Presentation of the photo documentation to parents. • Publication of participants’ opinions and memories in the school newspaper EVENT and in the county teen newspaper KULTURKA. • The annual training meeting organized in December by SHW company in Thüringen. • The official ceremony during which students are going to receive Europass documents and other certificates.
